Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow (Thursday) for a two-day official visit from October 23 to 24. During his stay, both countries will hold discussions covering the full range of bilateral relations.

According to the Foreign Office, Sikorski is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. This will be his second visit to the country; his first took place in 2011.

DPM Ishaq Dar and his Polish counterpart will hold a one-on-one meeting followed by delegation-level talks. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in multiple areas and will conclude with a joint press briefing.

The Foreign Office described Sikorski’s visit as an important step in deepening Pakistan–Poland relations. “Pakistan remains committed to enhancing cooperation with Poland for the mutual benefit of both countries,” the statement said.

Relations between Pakistan and Poland have steadily grown across political, economic, defence, and educational sectors. In 2023, bilateral trade between the two countries reached $922 million, with Pakistan’s exports valued at $794 million and imports from Poland at $128 million.
