Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called an important meeting of the federal cabinet to review the country’s economic and political situation.

According to official sources, the cabinet will discuss the current state of the economy and key political developments. The meeting will also focus on the situation following the recent ceasefire with Afghanistan.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is expected to brief the cabinet on the outcome of talks held with Afghan officials.

During the session, the cabinet will also approve the decisions made earlier by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and the Cabinet Committee on Legislative Cases.

The meeting is considered significant as it comes amid ongoing political challenges and efforts to stabilize Pakistan’s economy and strengthen regional relations.
