The UAE has launched the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Fellowships, a major program designed to prepare the next generation of leaders through specialized master’s degrees in Economic Strategies, International Policy, and Artificial Intelligence for the Public Sector.

The fellowship will support 200 outstanding Emirati professionals working in government institutions. 100 will focus on economic strategy and international policy, while 100 will specialize in applied AI. The goal is to give them advanced skills in policy design, digital innovation, and AI so they can strengthen the UAE’s global competitiveness.

Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi said the fellowships are “strategic investments in people” and will play a key role in shaping the country’s future through innovation, sustainability, and leadership.

By partnering with some of the world’s leading universities, the program aims to build expertise that will help drive sustainable growth and transform the way government works. It reflects the UAE’s long-term vision of investing in human capital and equipping its workforce with the tools needed for a rapidly changing world.
