The federal government has provided relief to the public by reducing electricity prices. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has also issued an official notification regarding the price cut.

According to the notification, electricity prices have been reduced by 48 paisa per unit as part of the monthly fuel adjustment. The revised rates will be applied to the current month’s electricity bills.

The reduction in electricity prices will benefit consumers across the country, including those under K-Electric. This move is expected to provide over Rs5 billion in total relief to electricity consumers nationwide.
