KARACHI: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced its plan to recruit medical professionals for the Hajj 2026 mission.
According to the ministry, the age limit for medical staff has been set between 25 and 55 years. The mission requires 98 doctors, pharmacists, and 196 paramedical personnel, while individuals suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or hypertension will not be eligible.
Applicants seeking to join the medical mission must submit a fitness certificate from their respective District Headquarters Hospital. The last date to apply is tomorrow, and candidates will be assessed through an NTS-administered test.
The ministry clarified that a minimum of three years of government service is mandatory for eligibility. Retired officials are ineligible, and only serving government employees will be considered for deployment in the medical mission.
Selected personnel will perform duties in Saudi Arabia during Hajj, with appointments made in accordance with federal policy. A 30% quota has been reserved for female medical staff.
