ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to protest nationwide against the gun attack on Chairman Imran Khan today at 5 pm.

The PTI leadership has made it clear that the protests across the country will continue until their demands will be heard.

Pertinently, the PTI chief has named three characters involved in the heinous act of attack on him and demanded their resignation.

“The protests will continue until the resignation of the three characters involved in the attack on Imran Khan,” Chief Minister and Punjab Government spokesperson Musrat Jamshed Cheema said.

PTI leader Asad Umar while taking it to Twitter said that protests will take place in all major cities today against the attempt on Imran Khan’s life.

“The protest site of each city will be announced by local organizations. Show them that no one can suppress a truly free nation. I myself will participate in the protest at Liberty Chowk Lahore.”

The announcement came after the address by Imran Khan to the nation after his surgery. Imran Khan in his speech said that he will give a call for Islamabad after his recovery and urged the nation to wait for his call.

Pertinently, the PTI chairman was attacked during the Azadi march. The attack claimed the life of a PTI stalwart and left 14 others injured.

Protests against the attempt broke out in all major cities and the people being aggressive over the incident burned tyres and blocked the roads.
