PMLN’s GC meeting scheduled for Nov 11 postponed due to smart lockdown in Punjab
Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN’s) Central General Council meeting has been postponed due to the smart lockdown imposed in Punjab.
The Punjab government on Tuesday declared a smart lockdown in seven districts to tackle the escalating air pollution levels and an alarming increase in Conjunctivitis cases.
The meeting has been postponed upon the request of PMLN President Shehbaz Sharif, tweeted Mariyum Aurangzeb.
Her message stated that the meeting initially planned for November 11 under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif has been postposed in light of a health emergency and the implementation of a smart lockdown in Punjab.
Added the decision is aimed at safeguarding the health of the attendees and the general public.
The new date for this meeting will be communicated soon.
