On Friday, a man was detained for cutting through the line to rush to the Queen Elizabeth casket. Details indicate that police have detained a man who allegedly cut in front of the line, passing a young girl in her seventies, and ran to the coffin.

He then made an effort to seize the coffin of Britain’s longest-serving monarch Queen Elizabeth before raising the royal standard.

The Metropolitan Police Department also released the following statement: “On Friday, September 16, at 22:00 hrs., members of the Metropolitan’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command apprehended a man in Westminster Hall as a result of a disturbance.

“He was arrested for an offence under the Public Order Act and is currently in custody.”

While speaking to the Daily Mail, a witness described the disturbing incident:  “We saw him (the man) in the queue from the beginning of the queue and throughout the day, he was by himself. “

“When we entered the room we were at the top of the stairs when we saw the incident.
