Buckingham Palace announce King Charles’ official Birthday Parade

The King’s Birthday Parade (Trooping of the Color) will be held for King Charles III on Sunday, June 17, according to the Buckingham Palace.

It said, “This impressive display of pageantry will be held by Regiment of the Household Division, Horse Guards Parade, with His Majesty the King attending and taking salute.”

According to the statement, the Trooping of the Color has been used for more than 260 years to commemorate the Sovereign’s formal birthday.

The first Trooping of the Colour for King Charles will take place in 2023, according to the announcement.

“200 horses and 400 musicians come together each June in great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark the king’s birthday,” according to the Palace.
