Prince William and Rose Farquhar are showing that you can be friends with someone you used to date.

On Saturday, the Prince of Wales went to the wedding of his first serious girlfriend in Gloucestershire. It looked like he went alone. William, who is 40 years old, wore a classy black tux with a bowtie to the ceremony. He looked very nice.

He was one of many people who went to St Mary the Virgin church to see his 39-year-old ex-girlfriend, whom he dated in 2000, marry George Gemmell. William and Farquhar met for the first time at the Beaufort Polo Club after William finished his A-levels at Eton College. Daily Mail said that they were once said to have been caught canoodling in a field.

After their short relationship, Farquhar moved to New York to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. In 2016, she was on “The Voice UK.” It looks like Kate Middleton, who is now William’s wife, did not go to the wedding with him.

William’s outing comes just days after the second episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking docuseries was released on Netflix. In that episode, the Duke of Sussex said that his brother had “screamed” at him during a meeting.

The six-part documentary called “Harry & Meghan” also said that Buckingham Palace staffers used Markle as a “scapegoat” to keep the press from writing bad things about other royal family members.
