Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle made headlines in 2020 when they moved to the US, but they weren’t the first members of the royal family to settle there; Princess Eugenie had previously lived and worked in New York.

The daughter of the disgraced Duke of York Prince Andrew, Eugenie, lived in New York and worked for the online auction business Paddle8 before returning to the UK in 2015.

According to rumours, Princess Eugenie, who continues to be close with Prince Harry and Meghan and even had an appearance in their Netflix docuseries, moved into the Meatpacking District in downtown New York, where her apartment reportedly cost around $6,000 per month.

Pictures of Eugenie’s chic apartment from the time in 2013 reveal exposed brick walls with high ceilings and traditional floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the Big Apple.

She enjoys walking to work every day, a royal source who spoke with US Weekly in 2013 said, adding that she loves New York.

Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie even made a comeback to US sporting arenas at the 2022 Super Bowl. Princess Eugenie was also frequently observed at Madison Square Garden at basketball events.

Eugenie did, however, return to the UK in 2015, and she later wed Jack Brooksbank in 2018. The couple’s son August was born in 2021.
