Royal family plans to deal with Meghan Markle and Harry
Hannah Furness, the royal editor for The Telegraph, responded to the subject of why the royal family has not responded tit-for-tat to the accusations made in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s Netflix documentary.
She stated, quoting a royal source, “The plan is to keep calm and carry on.
It’s very distressing, It’s very wearying but it is not going to distract them from the work.”
Furness penned: “The watchword for the royal family? Dignity. Exhaustion behind the scenes, certainly, but dignity in pubic before all.”
In brand-new episodes of their documentary series that were made available on Thursday, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan heaped more criticism on the British royal family, alleging that his older brother Prince William yelled at him during a summit to decide his future.
In the final three episodes of the Netflix series, Harry also claimed that William’s advisers had helped spread false information about the couple in the media and blamed the media for Meghan’s miscarriage. William is the current heir to the throne.
“It is a dirty game. There’s leaking but there’s also planting of stories,” Harry stated. “So if the comms (communications) team want to be able to remove a negative story about their principal, they will trade and give you something about someone else’s principal.”
