Prince Harry’s statement sparks outrage during British-Iranian’s execution
Prince Harry, the youngest son of King Charles, is becoming embroiled in the British-Iranian execution controversy as a result of the Duke’s “ill-judged” statements on the deaths of 25 Taliban in Afghanistan.
In the midst of the heated debate over the death of Alireza Akbari, the Iranian regime has used the Duke of Sussex’s admission to killing people as ammunition against Britain.
Following the murder of the dual British-Iranian national, Iran has asserted that the UK is “in no position to preach.”
The Duke of Sussex was accused of exhibiting no regret for the taking of “innocent” life, and Britain was charged with permitting this “war crime,” according to the official Twitter account of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The post made reference to a contentious section from Harry’s forthcoming memoir Spare that discusses the death toll and is already the target of growing criticism.
Security concerns for Harry’s own family as well as the citizens of the UK have also been raised by his remarks. The Duke is being criticised as a “big mouth loser” for comparing the combatants he murdered to “chess pieces” that had been removed from the game board.
