The British royal family has started counting down to the coronation of King Charles, which will occur on May 6, 2023.

The Buckingham Palace published information on the coronation on its official Twitter and Instagram accounts.

With 100 days left, the palace started the countdown.

“100 days to the Coronation!” it announced.

“Buckingham Palace is pleased to announce further details on the ceremonial, celebratory and community events that will take place over the Coronation Weekend between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May 2023.”

The service, which will be based on long-standing customs and pageantry, will represent the monarch’s position today and look to the future, as was previously announced.

The King and the Queen Consort Camilla hope that the Coronation Weekend will give people in the United Kingdom, the Realms, and the Commonwealth a chance to spend time and celebrate with friends, family, and communities.

They are excited to celebrate the event with the general public in 2023.
