The Princess of Wales has a new Instagram account, which includes stunning photos and behind-the-scenes videos.

The new page is for The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, and it will include all of Kate’s early childhood work, including her brand new Shaping Us campaign.

So far, posts have included stunning images of Kate launching the Shaping US project in Leeds, as well as meeting campaign ambassadors such as Rochelle Humes, Professor Green, and Kate Silverton.

There are also several videos of Kate explaining why the period between pregnancy and the age of five is critical in shaping children’s lives.

In another post, a special claymation video depicting how the development of a young girl from the age of zero to five is influenced by interactions and her environment can be seen being played in Picadilly Circus, in the heart of central London.

The launch of Kate’s “life’s work,” an ambitious campaign aimed at raising the profile of children’s early years development, coincides with the launch of the Instagram page, which has over 35,000 followers so far.

Kate wants the Shaping Up project to emphasise the importance of a child’s formative years.

“The campaign is fundamentally about shining a spotlight on the critical importance of early childhood and how it shapes the adults we become,” the princess said in a speech delivered Monday night at Bafta’s London headquarters.

“During this time we lay the foundations and building blocks for life. “And it is when we learn to understand ourselves, understand others and understand the world in which we live. “This is why it is essential to not only understand the unique importance of our earliest years, but to know what we can all do to help raise future generations of happy, healthy adults.”
