Meghan Markle, Prince Harry alleged plan to steal thunder of historic royal event
The rumored reason Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won’t be at King Charles III’s Coronation is because they have a plot to overshadow the historic royal occasion. The two have appeared to be arch rivals of some members of their own family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex believe that their participation might harm their reputation and possibly increase public support for the monarch. A source claims that the couple is preparing to offer their son Archie, who turns four on the same day, a star-studded birthday party in the US.
This action by Meghan and Harry would not only shield them from the security danger and probable public jeers, but it would also draw media attention and overshadow the King’s historic celebration.
The British king wants the Sussexes to attend his function in the meanwhile because he fears that their absence would draw unwanted media attention.
The same source claims that Charles and Camilla’s parents won’t allow them to enjoy their crowning. A friend of the Sussexes previously said that Meghan and Harry are “in limbo” and debating the “million different factors” influencing their choice.
While Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal specialist, claimed that they would stay at home due to concerns about security and a “seismic collapse” in popularity following the release of Harry‘s memoir.
On the other hand, a source close to the Duke told The Daily Telegraph that Harry hopes to mend his damaged relationship with the royal family by being by his father’s side on “very much the most crucial day.”
There are also rumors that King Charles III will publicly address the non-working royals on his special day to reaffirm his authority among his subjects.
