Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited their British royal relatives, who declined to attend the christening of their baby Princess Lilibet, last Friday in the US.

King Charles, Prince William, and other prominent members of the royal family were not persuaded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to attend the event for their daughter Princess Lilibet.

The royal family was extended an invitation by the couple to attend the event, but they declined, according to Omid Scobie.

The modest party had less than 50 attendees, including Markle’s mother Doria Ragland, Tyler Perry, Lilibet’s godfather, and an undisclosed godmother.

It should be noted that Lilibet and Archie, children of Harry and Meghan, earned royal titles upon the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2017 in accordance with guidelines established by King George V.
