Marlene Koenig, a royal historian, believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will still have a secure place to dwell in Britain even if they lose Frogmore House.

She was responding to reports that the couple had been ordered to leave their UK house following the publication of the Duke of Sussex’ book Spare.

Journalist and Meghan and Harry’s unauthorised biography Omid Scobie said taking away from the Sussexes their Windsor property, secured by police protection, meant robbing the pair of the “one remaining space that meets the family of four’s security needs when visiting”.

Marlene Koenig, on the other hand, claimed that royal palaces may give Meghan, Harry, and their children with a secure refuge when they visit the Kingdom.

“Prince Harry apparently views Frogmore Cottage as ‘the only place left that’s safe’ which for me is a strange comment,’ she said.

The historian went on to say, “Why? There are plenty of rooms at Windsor Castle where they could stay if they choose to come to the UK.”
