Ranbir Kapoor talked about his daughter Raha Kapoor, who is turning one year old next month. He mentioned that they plan to have a simple family celebration for her first birthday. Despite Raha being too young to recognize people, she was really excited to meet Taimur.

Ranbir Kapoor, during an online fan chat on Zoom, shared his ideas for Raha’s upcoming first birthday, according to reports.

He said, “We’re gonna have a small birthday party for her at home with just family and cousins, so looking forward to that.”

When asked about Raha’s relationship with her cousins Taimur and Jeh, Ranbir laughed and explained that his daughter is just 11 months old and doesn’t really recognize people yet.

However, he mentioned that she has recently begun to recognize some people, “Raha went to Taimur and Jeh’s house once. They have come home also. But she’s so young, she can’t recognise anyone. She is 11 months old. She’s barely recognising me now and I must say that I am her favourite, more than mumma (Alia Bhatt) also so, I am very happy about that.” Ranbir also recalled the time when he met Taimur for the first time, “The first time I met Taimur, I was also very starstruck. I was like ‘What a cute baby he is’.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in April last year. They shared the joyous news of Alia’s pregnancy just two months later, and their daughter Raha was born in November. However, the couple has chosen not to show their daughter’s face and has kindly asked photographers and the media not to take pictures of her.

Taimur and Jehangir are the sons of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Kareena, Karisma Kapoor, and Ranbir are all cousins, and they have a strong, close relationship.
