Social media can be quite harsh towards even the most famous individuals. This negativity has been growing in recent years and appears to be hard to manage.

Selena Gomez, in particular, has faced a lot of criticism from the moment she joined social media. While she has a supportive fan base, there are also many vocal critics.

However, the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict has heightened the emotional response of users. Selena Gomez is one of the artists who expressed her distress and sorrow regarding the situation.

“People being tortured and killed or any act of hatred towards any group, it’s horrible. We need to protect ALL people, especially children, and stop the violence for good,” she wrote at the time through a story.

However, she was also aware that it wasn’t going to help anyone, no matter how hard she tried. “I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can’t stand innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But one post won’t do it,” she added.
