On the other side, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is known for his writing. He has collaborated with Mehwish on several successful projects, including “Punjab Nahi Jaongi,” “London Nahi Jaunga,” and “Teri Meri Kahaniyaan.” Interestingly, despite their successful collaborations, there have been reports that Khalil ur Rehman Qamar and Mehwish were not on speaking terms during their work together.

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar recently appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he revealed that “he was angry at Mehwish. He shared that he was the one who got Mehwish cast in Punjab Nahi Jaungi. He fought the director and the producer and therefore she got that film. But later on, when he was making his film Kaaf Kangana, Mehwish said No to him which angered him.”

He added that “they were not speaking terms therefore and Khalil ur Rehman Qamar finally talked to her when she was cast in Teri Meri Kahaniyaan.”
