Mansha shared her feelings about marrying again after experiencing a divorce when she met Jibran. She expressed that she feels each divorce is different as people involved and families vary, so she exercises caution when advising someone. However, she always maintained certainty about the institution of marriage and knew that she wanted to marry Jibran after they got together.

Jibran Nasir, a well-respected lawyer and human rights activist, also discussed his feelings about marrying Mansha as she was divorced first. Jibran shared that “everyone in these times has a past. So, judging a woman who you want to marry for her past is not okay. You might also have a past in a world where there is co-education and people meet other people. Thus, this is something that should be understood and a broken marriage is not a taboo as a woman is also a human being with experiences and not a territory someone conquered.”

Jibran also shared that “everyone learns from their environment and he also early on learnt the same biases that they society has in general but broadening his horizon let him understand the world more.”
