As we all know, Pakistani dramas are garnering immense international fame and success with each passing day. Blockbuster dramas such as Parizaad, Mere Humsafar, Tere Bin, Kabli Pulao, and Ishq Murshid have recently trended in India.

Indian channels and media are expressing concerns about the decline of once-famous and trending Indian dramas. Recently, the renowned Indian character actor Sushant Singh voiced his concerns to the media and discussed the decline of Indian content.

Speaking about it, he said, “Our neighbor’s country, Pakistan, whom we consider our enemy, is creating amazing content, just look at their content and also check your content. What are you offering to the people? Why are we like this? Why are we producing substandard content? Why are we sending messages to those who criticize our content that we don’t want to change? Will we continue producing such content? What message do we want to convey to the actors or audiences — to watch or to leave, we won’t change? Do we not want to change? We have produced amazing content under tough working conditions. We will continue fighting for good content”. He further emphasized his desire for the actors’ community to be heard as a powerful voice.

Indian audiences also agreed with Sushant Singh’s sentiments and admitted that Pakistan is currently producing the best dramas.
