Anzela Abbasi, hailing from a family deeply rooted in Pakistan’s media industry, has decided to shift her focus from acting to pursuing a career in music. With her father Shamoon Abbasi, mother Javeria Abbasi, and aunt Anoushay Abbasi all making their mark in the entertainment world, Anzela initially explored acting, following in her family’s footsteps, before transitioning to modeling.

However, Anzela has been absent from television screens for a while now, as she sets her sights on a new creative endeavor: music. In a recent interview, she shared her long-standing passion for music and her excitement about finally pursuing it professionally. When asked about her departure from acting, Anzela cited her dissatisfaction with the repetitive nature of Pakistani dramas, particularly the focus on traditional family conflicts.

Anzela expressed her desire to break free from the stereotype of playing the typical “sweet, simple girl” in dramas, which she believes does not reflect her true personality. Despite being perceived as bold by some, she clarified that she’s simply being herself and doesn’t seek to challenge societal norms. She acknowledges that her uniqueness may be misunderstood by others but has come to terms with it.
