Nadia Khan, Shaista Lodhi, and Nida Yasir, the three queens of the morning show era, once dominated television screens. They gathered at Shan e Suhoor last night and discussed their experiences in their careers, including facing pressure from channels, raising their children, and managing controversies behind the scenes.

Nadia Khan recounted an incident when she used to take live calls on her show. The incident shook her and she still remembers it to this day. She revealed that “a woman who was probably depressed called her and asked to meet her and talk to her and she threatened that if Nadia refused, she would kill her baby. Nadia was shocked by that call.”

They also talked about incidents with actors that happened live and they had to counter the situation. Nida revealed that “an on-screen couple were also together in real life and the guy’s sister called and announced this on live television. Nadia Khan revealed an incident where the lead actor’s wife called and said that her husband is involved with his heroine, so why are you promoting them? Shaista had cases where the star guests were busy partying till late night and the next day they were not in a situation to be put on television live and Shaista had to handle it.”
