Mamya Shajaffar, also known as Maham Shahid, is a rising Pakistani model and actor. She gained fame through ‘Meesni’. In Meesni, Mamya portrayed dual roles and played the main characters, with her on-screen chemistry and Bilal Qureshi being well-received by fans.

An art enthusiast, Mamya enjoys dancing, acting, and painting. Known for her bold and fearless personality, she has also appeared in Jhok Sarkar and College Gate. Currently, she is garnering attention for her role in Jaan SE Pyara Juni . Mamya is happily married to Farooq Gul, who works as a photographer, creative director, and designer.

In a recent interview, Mamya shared insights about her marriage and revealed why she decided to get married at the age of twenty-five. Mamya also mentioned that her mother-in-law is incredibly supportive and caring.

Mamya Shajaffar said, “I think I got married at the right time. I was twenty five when I got married. I didn’t take an abrupt decision. We were already studying together and were seeing each other for three years. Well, I got married because my mother was quite strict, she used to say me to come home by 10:00 pm, which I didn’t want to. She then asked me to get married. So! When I was twenty five; I decided to marry. I called Gul to bring his mother. His mother came, and we got married within ten days. We got nikahfied in a simple nikah ceremony and then we went to Fairy Meadows for our reception. Me and Gul still think about doing a grand wedding although we had a wonderful reception at a beautiful destination”.
