In an interview with Meher Bokhari, Bushra Ansari highlighted a positive aspect of her first marriage. She explained that the marriage provided her with protection while she worked in the industry. As a result, people always treated her like a sister or sister-in-law, making her feel safe while working.

She also spoke about why she did not talk about her divorce first as she was not feeling up to it. She shared that “her second wedding announcement has also come suddenly as she and some of her friends including Samina Ahmed and Sultana Siddiqui wanted to do a discussion where they could have talked about a second marriage and a second chance at life. Due to their schedules that was not possible so she and her husband Iqbal Hussain made the announcement.”
