The T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 is taking place in the USA this year, and Pakistan is also participating and representing their side. The start of this World Cup has been sad for the Pakistani side as too much political involvement, wrong appointments in administration, and wrong team selections have destroyed the morale of the players, while fans do not have too many hopes either. Yesterday marked the biggest match of the tournament, i.e., India vs Pakistan, which was played in New York.

The whole team played in the worst way possible. Imad Wasim and Amir, who were given extraordinary support from the board, Iftikhar, who was dubbed as the finisher, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan, who “used” to be the golden openers, all failed in their respective fields. The only man who stood and fought till the end was Naseem Shah, who not only bowled his best spell but also was the most impactful player with the bat. He was therefore in tears when the team was humiliated once again on an international platform. Indian players also came forward and appreciated him.

Though cricket fans do not have a lot of hopes for this team, it was still heart-breaking, and they bucked up Naseem Shah. Naseem received support on social media for his effort and for actually trying to win the game.
