Hiba Ali, a stunning and talented Pakistani actress known for her roles in numerous hit serials, recently opened up about her personal struggles in an interview. Ali, famous for her leading role in “Dil Diya Dehleez,” had taken a break from the industry but made a comeback with “Mayi Ri.” Her latest notable dramas include “Shiddat” and “Jaan Nisar.”

In her recent interview, Hiba Ali discussed her experiences following her divorce, including dealing with depression, the possibility of a second marriage, and a child custody case filed by her ex-husband.

Ali expressed her decision not to remarry for the sake of her son, emphasizing that no child should endure such pain. She shared her belief that it is difficult to enter another marriage happily after a traumatic experience.

Hiba Ali said, “For me it was always unplanned. I always wanted to live with my husband because he was father of my son. I wanted to live with understanding. He was a good person. We lacked understanding in basic matters. He was educated and I was a sensible girl, we couldn’t fight daily on trivial things. We decided divorce on a dinner table. Yes, I got shocked after the custody case, he used to think that I made our son distant from him because obviously he was in Canada. It was our kid’s own choice to talk to father or not however we compromised on the custody case outside the court as I didn’t want to give up. I said him that he’s only going to waste his money. I think, I made a mistake of getting into marriage or I should have not taken divorce”

Addressing her battle with depression, Hiba Ali stressed the importance of understanding and supporting those who suffer from it. She highlighted that depression is a real and serious issue, urging people to be compassionate towards those affected.

She said, “We are bearing it, people who are suffering from depression commit suicide. At least, appreciate people who are dealing with it. I know people here think that depression patients are talking about it for attention seeking or taking some kind of mileage or benefit but it is not the case”.
