Recently, the case of domestic violence and the murder of a 20-year-old young mother Sania Zehra shocked everyone. The ambiguities surrounding the case highlight the systemic suppression of women and the frequent failure of justice in such incidents. Sania’s tragic death has left behind two toddlers.

Resham shared that “she has been very disturbed for the last few days after she heard about the case of Sania. She appealed to the government to provide justice. The videos and pictures she has seen have broken her. She said that she cannot understand how someone can be this cruel.”
