Serving as the Assistant Professor and Head of Gastroenterology, Director General & Transplant Hepatology, and Director of the Advanced GI Liver Tower at SITH in Multan, Dr. Qaiser has amassed a significant following on Facebook, with 3.9 million followers. He frequently uses his platform to discuss the impact of social media influencers, often calling out figures like Ducky Bhai and Iqra Kanwal for their perceived negative influence on society.

In a recent podcast, a data scientist, entrepreneur, and tech consultant, Dr. Affan Qaiser once again voiced his concerns about the detrimental effects that family vloggers, particularly Iqra Kanwal and Ducky Bhai, have on the public.

He believes that these influencers are contributing to negative trends within society, which he feels need to be addressed. Dr. Qaiser’s critique highlights the growing debate about the role of social media influencers in shaping public behavior and values.

Talking about the negative impact of Family vlogging, Dr Affan Qaiser said, “In Pakistan, two well-known family vloggers Ducky Bhai and Iqra Kanwal aka Sistrology are harming the society, now, I would talk about them loud and clear, I think they are the ones who can weekly buy a Fortuner and they are selling family, they doing pranks a d featuring their fights and inner issues on YouTube”. Irfan Malik replied to his concerns and said, “YouTube has nothing to do with the kind of content people are producing. I make educational videos but there is no viewership on it, but I know what legacy I am leaving behind me, the thing that matters is realization”.
