Arshad Nadeem, an Olympic champion and gold medalist, has brought immense glory to Pakistan. The star Javelin thrower secured Pakistan’s first gold medal in 32 years, lifting the nation’s spirits during a time of despair. Coming from the small city of Mian Channu, Arshad has made his village proud through sheer dedication and hard work. Pakistanis are now showering him with praise and well-deserved rewards for his incredible achievements.

In an interview with journalist Hamid Mir, Arshad Nadeem and his mother expressed the joy they are feeling after his victory. Arshad also discussed his plans, having received significant rewards, including 10 crore rupees from the Government of Punjab and 15 crore rupees from the Federal Government.

He shared that “he does not get to go to his home a lot due to training but he mostly loves to spend time in his village when he is free. He also wants to start an athletics academy in his city of Mian Chanu where he will train while other athletes will also get a chance. He is determined to get that goal as well like he got the gold for Pakistan.”
