Waqar Hussain appeared as a guest on “Fahad’s Den” and discussed how the industry has become repetitive and monotonous over the years. He also explained why veteran makeup artists are less visible today. Waqar noted that older stars did not mind how their makeup was done, whereas today’s stars have teams and only work with their artists. This trend prevents new talent from getting opportunities and stifles the promotion of fresh faces in the industry.

He also spoke about many big names from the beauty industry now simply running their salons and not working on sets. He said that “the negativity on sets is a basic factor for it as people just did not want to go through that and therefore many of our senior artists now remain home.”
