Goher Mumtaz, a popular Pakistani musician, singer, and actor, gained fame as the founder, songwriter, music composer, and guitarist of Jal the Band. His notable dramas include “Tanhai”, “Daagh-e-Dil”, “Faisla”, “Mere Humdam”, “Kathputli”, and “Neelum Kinaray”, among others. Happily married to Anam Goher, Goher Mumtaz is also the proud father of an adorable son.

Goher Mumtaz recently appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where he discussed his relationships with Atif Aslam and Farhan Saeed.

Goher Mumtaz shared, “Hearing Atif Aslam’s interview with Samina Peerzada upset me, as he spoke a lot against me. I felt hurt because we were still on speaking terms at that time. He then called me and I was okay after he apologized to me. He also said that it was unintentional because Samina Peerzada was asking such questions and I just spoke in the flow”

He further said, “I didn’t want to talk against Farhan Saeed and it was also cut in a way where it seemed that I was taking the credit of grooming him but in fact, I replied to a question when the host asked about the struggles I faced after Atif left Jal. I called Farhan Saeed and cleared this thing with him too. Most of the time it happens because the interviewer cut the important part of the interview”.
