• Actor Fahad Mustafa shares his decision to star in “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum” on “Haute Talk”.

Fahad Mustafa recently appeared on “Haute Talk”, a show by “Something Haute”, where he discussed his decision to take on “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum”. He revealed that he was initially set to do a different drama and also shared insights on the tantrums of A-list male leads.

Talking about Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, Fahad Mustafa said, “During the process of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’s casting, I was quite angry because of the actors. Every actor was just talking about money. I am an actor and I know that once a project is successful, you get the money. It’s not about money, the actor’s presence on the set matters and makes the projects memorable because he gets more chances to perform. I gave nine months to my director who has previously delivered hits. I gave him trust and my time. For making a good drama you have to be on the set 24/7. I was there on the set. This is the reason for the success of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum because I was just there and one has to live the character to perform”.

KMKT actor also said, “Nobody was expecting that I will do a drama until I reached the set and meanwhile we were also talking to many a listers for this character who refused the drama. Hania Aamir was always there and she was the one who asked me to do the drama. We had Javed Sheikh with us and Emmad was always there. Bushra Ansari was also in my mind”

He further added, “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum script was not written for me, I was about to do Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet because an actor left the show. I could have done that but I was busy somewhere”.

Fahad Mustafa explained that he took on “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum” for Jarjees Seja, wanting to do something in return for his support. He added that Jarjees had always valued him, and he felt that ARY also needed his presence in the project.
