Pakistani actress Hina Rizvi recently shut down an internet troll who criticized actress Neelam Muneer for her choice of a wealthy partner.

Neelam had recently shared wedding pictures on social media from her ceremony near the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. In the photos, Neelam, dressed in a white embellished outfit, posed with her husband, who wore a traditional Arabic jubbah. However, she did not reveal his identity or details about their relationship.

A user, commenting on Neelam’s wedding pictures, made a snide remark implying that the actress only married someone wealthy. The user stated, “Halka Hath Tw Marna He Nai Na In Logo Nay” (They don’t choose low).

In response, Hina Rizvi took to Instagram to defend Neelam. She wrote, “Tw Khud Kam Kar Lay. Agar Koi Aurat Financially Secure Admi Say Shadi Karti Hai Tw Is Main Koi Harj Nahi. Biwi Ka Hak Hai K Shohar K Pasy Pay Sakoon Ki Zindagi Guzary. You should not be passing such remarks for any woman” (Should she earn on her own even after marriage? There is no harm if a woman chooses a financially secure man. It is a woman’s right to live comfortably with her husband’s wealth).
