Pakistan team’s skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is looking forward to fielding his men strongly against Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series starting from October 5 in Lahore.

The green shirts’ captain talked to journalists in Lahore, where they will play the first T20I against Sri Lanka on October 5, and opined that in T20 cricket no team is weak and results can’t be predicted.

“In the shorter format of the game, you don’t get enough time to take decisions so anything can happen. You have to give your hundred percent on the field to win matches,” he said.

Sarfraz has full faith in the selected squad for the series and is confident to beat the visiting side.

‘Our combination looks strong as we have two of the leading spinners in T20I, Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan.

They can rattle opposition on their day,” Sarfraz highlighted.

He welcomed Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shahzad in the T20I side and hopes to see them contributing worthy for the team.

“I welcome both the players. They both are important prospects for us and I am looking forward to their performance for the team,” the wicket-keeper batsman said.

While talking about his personal performance, Sarfraz said that he needs some time to get in the rhythm.

“The things will be normalized once I spend some time at the crease. I have worked hard to improve my fitness and now practicing to perform as well,” he concluded.
