Pakistan seems exactly like our homeland: Sri Lankan commentator

One of the greatest commentators from Sri Lanka, Roshan Abeysinghe, urged international cricket playing nations to tour Pakistan as Pakistan is safe for sports.

Abeysinghe is the part of the commentary team for a historic Pakistan-Sri Lanka ODI and T20I series. Currently he is considered as voice of cricket Sri Lanka.

After the third and final ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at National Stadium Karachi (NSK), the Sri Lankan Commentator said that its right of Pakistanis to watch their team playing in front of them, these stadiums must be given international cricket.

Pakistanis have great knowledge of game and have huge love for cricket they are peaceful and lovely people.

“Absolutely, no doubts on the love and passion the people of Pakistan have for cricket. It is amazing to see them cheering the game here at NSK. They deserve much more than this,” the Sri Lankan commentator said.

Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan beat Sri-Lanka by five wickets in the third One Day International at Karachi.

Batting first, Sri Lanka set a victory target of 298 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted fifty over.

In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in 48.2 overs for the loss of five wickets.

Fakhar Zaman and Abid Ali have added up a huge 123-runs for the opening stand after Sri Lanka, boosted by a career best 133 by opener Danushka Gunathilaka, posted a challenging 297-9 at the National Stadium Karachi.

Abid Ali got out in the 19th over by de Silva at 74 off 67 balls which included 10 fours at a strike rate of 110.44 while Babar Azam also became prey of Nuwan Pradeep at 31 off 26b after hitting two fours at the strike rate of 119.23 in 29th over.

Other T20 matches in the Gaddafi Stadium will be played on 5th, 7th and 9th October.
