Pakistan’s cricket legend Waqar Younis honored at International Cricket’s Hall of Fame Bradman Museum at the Sydney Cricket Ground here on Wednesday.

According to the details, The Pakistan bowling coach would be inducted at the 13th annual Bradman gala dinner being held at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Australia.

Bradman Museum Bowral announced the news and congratulates Waqar on its Twitter account.

Every year, two players are selected by the Bradman Museum that has shown outstanding performance in international cricket competitions, sources said.

Notable names such as Sachin Tendulkar, Mark Anthony and Adam Gilchrist have been the recipients of the honorable title.

The former captain of Pakistan, Wasim Akram, accumulated 789 wickets international wickets during his illustrious cricket career and was most well-known for his toe crushing Yorkers.

Younis was 1992 Wisden Cricketer of the Year and was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.

He also received Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s 2nd highest civilian honor.
