Inam Butt bags another gold medal in 13th South Asian Games

Pakistan’s top wrestler Inam Butt defeated Nepal’s Sumit Kumar to win 92kg wrestling gold medal in 13th South Asian Games.

According to details, Inam was losing by 4-6 points in first round, but in the second round, he used his traditional “double leg” technique to conquer his opponent to win the final bout.

After this Marvelous victory the star wrestler said that he wants to make the nation proud and he also dedicated his medal to the Kashmiri brethren.

Two other Pakistani wrestlers Mohammad Bilal and Umair Butt won silver medals after they were beaten in the final bouts.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the 13th South Asian Games, Pakistan’s total medal count has reached 105, including 28 gold, 33 silver and 44 bronze medals.

Earlier, Inam Butt won gold medal at ANOC World Beach Games in Doha.

Inam Butt beat Adao Rafael da Silva of Portugal in the final match by 3-o and won the title.

It should be noted that Inam Butt won gold for Pakistan at the Commonwealth Games last year by defeated India’s Anuj Kumar.
