Inauguration ceremony of the mini Olympics was held in Karachi, Mayor Waseem Akhtar inaugurated the mini Olympics by burning a torch.

A mini Olympics event is going to be held in Karachi’s District East from November 30 to December 7 at the Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy.

Talking to the media after the ceremony, Mayor Karachi said that the grant would be given to the infrastructure company and they would spend it, Mayor Karachi also spoke on the fall of sports.

Wasim Akhtar said that unless there is merit in the game, no progress can be made while cricket is being subjected to nepotism.

He said that I would demand the Prime Minister not to abuse the cricketers because Sarfraz Ahmed has been abused. Everyone has seen the result of him being dropped from the team.

Talking to the media, Wasim Akhtar said that the grounds of the country are suffering from a devastating situation and sportsmen are being suppressed but we will not let that happen.
