PAKvsBAN: Babar Azam and Shan Masood centuries and a fifty for Asad Shafiq set Pakistan up for a lead of 109 runs on the second day of the first cricket test against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi cricket stadium.

According to the details, Pakistan lead by 109 runs with 7 wickets in hands in the 1st innings as Bangladesh were all out for 233 in their first innings.

Babar Azam with 143 and Asad Shafiq 60 runs are at the crease.

Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has thanked Bangladesh Cricket Board and its government for sending their team to Pakistan regardless of the negative propaganda of our enemy India.

While talking to the media persons at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the massage  has sent to the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country and the people of the country have great love for cricket.

Shaheen Afridi destroys Bangladesh Batting order, all out on 233

The Special Assistant Pakistan’s positive and peaceful image stands promoted as a result of efforts and vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

She expressed satisfaction over the revival of cricket in Pakistan and expressed the confidence that more international teams will now come to Pakistan.

She said we are  cognizant of the importance of sports for promotion of positivity and fight intolerance in the society.

She said restructuring has been done in the cricket and improvements will also be brought in other games such as hockey, football and boxing.

Responding to a question, she said given the current situation in occupied Kashmir where innocent Kashmiri people are being subjected to worst form of atrocities by Indian forces, the cricket ties between Pakistan and India are not possible.

She demanded India to immediately lift curfew in the occupied valley.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government is committed to exploit the potential and talent of their youth in different sports.
