PSL 2020 – Franchises finalized PSL 5 Squad

The six franchises of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 have declared their replacements for the tournament.

PSL issued a press release in which it mentioned the changes the franchises made.

Quetta Gladiators have purchased in Zahid Mehmood for Keemo Paul who will join the squad after March 7.

Islamabad United has replaced Rassie van der Dussen with Dawid Malan for the entire tournament.

Apart from these, Karachi kings have brought Mitchell McClenaghan in place of Liam Plunkett for all the matches while Chadwick Walton joins for Dan Lawrence.

Furthermore, Lewis Gregory has joined Peshawar Zalmi in place of Dwaine Pretorius for all the matches while Carlos Brathwaite will be in the team till March 7 in place of Kieron Pollard.

Multan Sultans has also made a change in its team. It has brought in Fabian Allen till March 7 rather than Wayne Madsen.

Above all, Dane Vilas will be playing with Lahore Qalandars for all the matches instead of Lendl Simmons.

Former T20 World Cup Champion Younus Khan has shown his support for Lahore Qalandars to win PSL 5 tournament.

His recent media talk at a ceremony held at NED University; the former Test player said that All teams are good and they are working hard to clinch the title.”

“However, it is my wish that I want to see Lahore Qalandars in the finals,” he said.

Peshawar Zalmi replaced him with South Africa’s Hashim Amla earlier this month.
