PSL 5 Security: IGP Islamabad holds meeting for fool proof arrangements

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan held a meeting to review Pakistan Super League PSL 5 Security arrangements.

The fifth Edition of  PSL 5, set to take off on February 22 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The DIG (operation) would monitor himself all the affair pertaining to PSL 5 Security to ensure the full proof security of the guests.

Strict checking would ensured at all entry and exit points in the city.

It was decided to ensure full proof security arrangements at the venue where teams are staying and also during their movement at the stadium. Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) would also issue an alternate plan to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city.

PSL 5 Opening Ceremony:

The opening ceremony of PSL 2020 will take place at the National Stadium in Karachi.

PSL 5 first Match:

However The first opening match will played between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators at National Stadium Karachi on Feb 20.

Perfomances:

Moreover The tournament will see as many as 350 artists including Abrar-ul-Haq, Aima Baig, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi and rock band Soch perform at the opening ceremony.

PSL 2020 Winner Price:

According to the statement issued by PSL management, the tournament will carrying total prize money of $ 1 million, with $ 4,500 fixed for each player which will awarded at the end of each match. It states that $ 80,000 will equally be distributed to cricketers of the tournament; the top batsman, best bowler and for the spirit of cricket award.

Furthermore The best catchers, the best run-out and most sixes will also be awarded prize money, the statement revealed.
