Karachi Kings has qualified for semi-finals of Pakistan Super League 2020 after defeating Islamabad united with four wickets.

Karachi Kings have decided to field first after winning the toss against Islamabad in the 28th match of the PSL 5.

Islamabad made 136 at the loss of 6 wickets with Hussain Talat top-scoring with 37. Several of its regular foreign stars were not playing.

Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan made a partnership of 60-runs for Karachi Kings and Karachi beat the target with the lost of four wickets.

It should be noted the stadium will not be opened for the public as per precautionary step taken by the government to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

PCB reschedules remaining matches of PSL 5

Last night, the match of Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi was also played without spectators.

Multan Sultan had defeated Peshwar Zalmi by 3 runs yesterday.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has rescheduled the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League 2020 by replacing the playoffs with semi-finals on 17 March and the final on 18 March.

According to the revised schedule, the 17 March semi-finals will be double-headers and will  held at the Gaddafi Stadium with the table-toppers going head to head with the fourth-placed side at 2pm.

This match will  followed by the second semi-final, which will begin at 7pm, between the second and third-placed sides.

The final will played on 18 March and will start at 7pm.

Many foreign players in Pakistan Super League (PSL) are preparing to leave Pakistan amid Coronavirus worries.

According to sources, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given option to foreign players to withdraw from the game.

England players are ready to leave the league and go back, sources said.

PCB said in a statement that the board asked players to withdraw from the league; any player has the option to do so.
