British Pakistani Boxer Amir Khan has expressed his gratitude for all those who supported his foundation to help needy in Pakistan amid the coronavirus outbreak.

On Tuesday he took to his official twitter handle and wrote:

“With your help, we helped 12.000 families with food and drinks in Pakistan.”

Amir Khan wrote further

In England we have supported over 20.000 families with food boxes and we still working to help more.”

Earlier British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has announced to donate Rs 40 million to Pakistan to help fight the novel coronavirus. Khan also offered to use his Islamabad boxing academy as a quarantine for the coronavirus patients.

Amir Khan Boxer has donated a four-storey building to the National Health Service to help out in the fight against coronavirus.

With  NHS struggling with bed shortages amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Amir Khan Boxer has allowed his 66,000 square foot building to be used by those affected. Two-weight world champion Khan has revealed that the building was set to be turned into a wedding hall and retail outlet.

He took to social media to announce his incredible gesture, where he posed in front of the building that was to now go into NHS hands.

He said: “I am aware of how difficult it is for the public to get a hospital bed in this tragic time.

“I am prepared to give my 60,000 square foot 4 story building which is due to be a wedding hall and retail outlet to the @NHSuk to help people affected by the coronavirus. Pls keep safe.”
