Sarfaraz Nawaz reveals Pak vs Ban match of 1999 World Cup was FIXED!

Former Pakistan Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz has made shocking claims on Sunday and revealed that 1999 World Cup Matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and final Pakistan vs Australia were fixed.

While talking to Bol News, Sarfaraz Nawaz claimed that 1999 World Cup Matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and final Pakistan vs Australia became the victim of spot fixing.

He revealed that before the match he went in to the stadium and met Wasim Akram who was leading the team at that time. “Wasim Akram said that this match has to be won in any case as rumors about match fixing were circulating. Wasim Akram said that we will win this match. I also told Shoaib Akhtar to take at least 5 to 6 wickets. ”

Pakistan lost the match. Later, Justice Qayyum formed a commission. Former Pakistan Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz said many players including him appeared before the commission. “The incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan also appeared before the commission.

Sarfaraz Nawaz while criticizing Wasim Akram said that former captain Wasim Akram admitted that he has assets in more than of his income, despite that Imran Khan has including him in Pakistan Cricket Board.

Sarfaraz Nawaz demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to keep all those former players away from the cricket who were charged by Justice Qayyum Commission. He also said that Pakistan Super League has also became the victim of Match Fixing.

While speaking about the punishment given to cricketer Umar Akmal, he said only six months punishment is justified for the offense Umar Akmal has committed. Some people in Pakistan Cricket Board are being specially treated.

In addition to this, Sarfaraz Nawaz has demanded Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board to take strict measures to stabilize the managerial issues in the board.
