Bangladesh vs NZ test series cancelled due to health concerns

Due to the health and safety concerns, Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced that the test match series with  New Zealand has been postponed.

According to the details, The Bangladesh and New Zealand’s cricket board will now plan and decide another suitable to play the series.

New Zealand were to travel to Bangladesh for a two-match Test series in August and September as part of the World Test Championship (WTC).

BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, In the present COVID-19 pandemic scenario, hosting a full cricket series in August 2020 will be a challenge in terms of preparations and we cannot take chances with the safety and health of players, support staff and related stakeholders.”
