On Saturday, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan announced that a clear ‘code of conduct’ will be introduced for domestic cricketers within three or four weeks.

During a teleconference with reporters, Khan said domestic players also fall under a certain ‘code of conduct’ that is not yet properly established. He said the cricket board is working to formulate a specific policy that will be linked to ‘what they can and can not do’ for both domestically and internationally contracted players.

“We have been working on to make a clear ‘code of conduct’ for our players, especially domestically contracted cricketer. Within three or four weeks, we will introduce a clear ‘code of conduct’ for players and also the penalties/punishment if a player breaches it,” said Khan.

Khan also talked about Hafeez’s corona test,

“I have talked to Hafeez personally when he posted his result of a private test publicly. I told him that his Tweet questioned PCB’s entire testing system. He showed remorse and I think we sort out the issue and now everything is ok.”
