Pakistan’s two-day practice match underway in Worcester to end today

Pakistan’s two-day scenario-based practice match will end today (Monday) as players are displaying their batting, bowling and fielding skills.

Six players who joined the team in second phase after testing negative for COVID-19 are also in action along with rest of the squad in the practice match.

On the other hand, three more players are eligible to join the Pakistan’s national cricket team in Worcester following testing negative twice for COVID-19 in four days.

Haider Ali, Imran Khan and Kashif Bhatti, along with massuers Malang Ali and Mohammad Imran, returned negative tests on 1 and 4 July.

However, The Pakistan Cricket Board will now make arrangements for their departure to England, which will be shared in due course.

Earlier, CEO of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Wasim Khan said that seven more players of Pakistan cricket team tested positive for COVID-19 and can join their team in England.

According to the details, Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan and Wahab Riaz tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
